Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It consists of over 17,000 islands, including Sumatra, Sulawesi, Java, and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. It is the world's largest island country the most populous Muslim-majority country. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population. Indonesia is a presidential republic with an elected legislature. It has 34 provinces, five have special status.

As a middle income country and member of the G20, Indonesia is classified as a newly industrialized country. Estimated at US$40 billion in 2019, Indonesia's Internet economy is expected to cross the US$130 billion mark by 2025.It depends on domestic market and government budget spending and its ownership of state-owned enterprises (the central government owns 141 enterprises).
